Thomas Fire: Air Quality and Masks

Remember that the particulates you can’t see may be the most dangerous to your (future) health. Wear an N95 mask when outdoors, not an everyday one meant to prevent the spread of germs (note: our hospital will provide each patient with an N95 upon discharge; a mask is not needed while in our building, as the strong air filtration system is filtering out the particles).

Free N95 masks will be distributed at the Goleta Valley Community Center and Santa Barbara Public Library today, while supplies last.
