Thomas Fire: School Closures
Emergency back-up procedures are in place at Cottage Health and our hospitals are open, per usual. However, be advised, below is the list of school closures due to the Thomas Fire, burning now in Ventura County, our neighbor to the south. It has been reported that 45,000 acres have burned. Be safe and take care of yourselves.

- Ventura Community College
- Thomas Aquinas College
- Mesa Union School District
- Briggs School District
- Mupu School District
- Oxnard Elementary School District
- All Ventura County Office of Education Schools (Including Providence School)
- Santa Clara Elementary (20030 East Telegraph Road, Santa Paula)
- Rio School District
- Ocean View School District
- Ojai School District – Closed
- Oxnard High School District
- Santa Clara High School
