Prepared Childbirth Class: Second Session TONIGHT, 12/7
If you signed up for Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital’s two-part Prepared Childbirth Classes 11/30 and 12/7, your second session is 6-9 pm TONIGHT!
these classes help prepare expectant families for the arrival of a new baby. Our classes are appropriate whether you choose natural or medical options for coping with labor discomfort. Specially trained registered nurses provide expert preparation and support for the challenges of pregnancy and labor. We offer different class times and lengths for your convenience (Additional opportunities to register for this class will take place in January and February 2018.)
Course Content:
- Breathing and comfort techniques
- Stages of labor and delivery
- Coaching role for labor companions
- Medical options for labor and birth, including Cesarean
- Preparing for postpartum with an emphasis on care of the new mom and baby
