Miracle Kid Monday: Jared

More than 18 years ago, mom Mary’s preeclampsia led to a distressed pregnancy. Jared was born at 26 weeks and weighed just 1 lb. 12 oz. Doctors at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital were able to save them both. Jared spent three months in the Neonatal ICU. Eighteen years later, he’s graduated high school, become an Eagle Scout and he looks forward to following his dreams wherever they may lead.
