Thomas Fire: 148,000 Acres

The Thomas Fire has now reached the size of Chicago in acres burned. It is 15% contained.

We remain at full operational power at the hospital, with emergency generators on (to combat sporadic power outages/surges in the area, caused by the fire), a strong air filtration system keeping particulates at bay, and full staff coverage.

We thank our employees for putting in extra hours and covering shifts for those who have had to evacuate, and we thank the firefighters and responders who continue to keep our community safe.
